Security and Data Privacy

Your organizational knowledge is central to the work we do together. UTE works with your team to clarify how information is shared, accessed, and handled throughout your engagement.

How our services are supported

UTE delivers its services through established cloud platforms that support content production, client collaboration, learning delivery, and reporting. These providers supply hosting, storage, and processing infrastructure. UTE’s team coordinates the work, reviews the deliverables, and remains your point of contact throughout your engagement.

Protecting your information

Our supporting platforms offer safeguards such as encryption, authentication, access controls, and backup capabilities. The protections available to your engagement depend on the services, features, and configuration used. Your Customer Success Manager can help review your organization’s requirements and clarify the proposed workflow before confidential materials are shared.

Access shaped around your team

Your UTE Client Portal brings deliverable requests, progress tracking, feedback, draft approvals, and completed assets into one workspace. Your learning environment serves a different purpose, making approved content available to learners. We work with your organization to clarify who needs access, what information they should receive, and how materials should be shared through the supporting platforms. Let your Customer Success Manager know when responsibilities change or access needs to be updated.

Information that supports your engagement

Depending on your engagement, the information involved may include organizational resources, contact details, deliverable requests, comments, approvals, learner profiles, and learning results. That information supports the work agreed with your organization, including building and updating content, coordinating delivery, and measuring comprehension and retention. Share only the information needed for the work. If source materials contain confidential records or sensitive personal information, discuss the appropriate handling approach with your Customer Success Manager before submitting them.

Your requirements belong in the conversation

Organizations have different expectations for confidentiality, data location, access, retention, and internal security review. Raise those requirements during discovery so we can assess the supporting services and proposed delivery approach. Any specific commitments should be reflected in your engagement arrangements rather than assumed from a platform feature or provider policy.

Retention and deletion

Storage and deletion timelines depend on the relevant platforms and engagement arrangements. Your Customer Success Manager can help with retention questions, access removal, or deletion requests. Backups, safety logs, and legal requirements may affect when deletion is completed.
